State Disability Plan 2017-2020

The Queensland Government is building an inclusive Queensland where every person, including the one in five Queenslanders who have a disability, can thrive and reach their full potential as equal citizens.

All Abilities Queensland: opportunities for all is the State Disability Plan for 2017–2020. It builds on progress already made and guides how Queenslanders can work in partnership with Commonwealth and local governments, the corporate sector, non-government and community organisations, communities and individuals, to provide opportunities for all.

Statement of Ongoing Commitment – All Abilities Queensland

In August 2021, the Honourable Craig Crawford MP, Minister for Seniors and Disability Services and Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships issued a Statement of Ongoing Commitment (PDF, 186 KB) Statement of Ongoing Commitment (DOCX, 71 KB) to the All Abilities Queensland: opportunities for all – State Disability Plan 2017-20 on behalf of the Queensland Government.

Once the new National Disability Strategy is released, the Queensland Government will develop a new State Disability Plan and Queensland Government agencies will work to develop new Disability Service Plans to guide our continued action to deliver targeted action to improve the lives of people with disability in Queensland.
