Government Champions
The Government Champion program provides an opportunity for Chief Executives of Queensland Government agencies to work together with identified communities towards improving life outcomes for Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islander people, in a collaborative partnership.
Remote Indigenous Land and Infrastructure Program Office
The Program Office provides government with a 'one stop shop' in addressing land administration issues along with whole-of-government coordination of all infrastructure development within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander discrete communities.
Queensland Productivity Commission service delivery inquiry
Queensland Government response to the Queensland Productivity Commission's (QPC) inquiry into service delivery in remote and discrete Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Welfare reform
The department has a key role in leading Queensland's Welfare Reform program to support families and individuals to improve their lives by re-building social norms and re-establishing local authority for Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islander people living in Welfare Reform communities.
